Burton, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University, has deepened his expertise by attaining certifications as a Master Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP) and Substance Abuse Professional (SAP). As a proud veteran of the United States Army, his dedication extends from the military to civilian communities. His career spans various treatment settings, including private practice and both inpatient and outpatient mental health/substance abuse facilities.
